Annual Report 2005
The Office of Electronic Communications (UKE) was established on 14 January 2006 in place of the Office of Telecommunications and Post Regulation (URTiP). Thus, this Annual Report of the President of URTiP for 2005 was drafted and submitted by the President of UKE.
Annual Report 2004
The mission of the President of the Office of Telecommunications and Post Regulation (URTiP) is to guide the telecommunications and postal sector in its transition from monopoly to an entirely competitive market. This is done under the new Telecommunications law of 16 July 2004 and the amended Postal law.
Annual Report 2003
The year 2003 was an important year for the Polish telecommunications sector and for our Office. Shortly before the works on the Telecommunications Law started, the act of 2000 was amended and the Postal Law was passed. The Act on the System of Conformity Assessment was also amended.

New rights for the pre-paid users
As a result of the amendment of the Act of 29 April 2010 Telecommunications Law, the rights of subscribers who are not a party of a written contact for provision of telecommunications services, will be widened.

TP SA claims compensation for universal service
30 June 2010 Telekomunikacja Polska SA applied for a compensation of the costs associated with the provision of universal service in 2009 amounting to PLN 236 166 485,33.
